Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what information R8 Research collects when you use r8research.store, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to what we genuinely need to take and fulfil an order, and we do not sell your personal information.
What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, billing and shipping address, email address and order details. Payment card details are entered into our payment processor’s secure fields and are handled by them; we receive only a confirmation and the last four digits. When you browse the site we collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed, through cookies and similar technologies, to keep the site working and secure.
Why we use it
We use your information to process and deliver orders, to provide customer support, to prevent fraud and misuse, to meet our legal and tax obligations, and — only where you have opted in — to send occasional product updates. We do not use your data for automated decisions that affect you.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the processors that make the service work: our payment processor, our shipping carriers, and the platform that hosts the site. Each handles data on our instructions and for no other purpose. We may disclose information where the law requires it. We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.
Retention
We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfil the order and to meet tax and accounting requirements, typically several years, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. To make a request, or to unsubscribe from any updates, email support@r8research.store. We will respond within a reasonable time.

We use essential cookies to run the cart and checkout and to keep the site secure, and limited analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may stop the cart working.

Legal basis and choices
We process your data because it is necessary to perform the contract when you place an order, because we have a legitimate interest in running and securing the site and preventing fraud, and — for any marketing — because you have consented. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time without affecting your orders.
Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable service providers who are contractually bound to safeguard it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures and we review them. If a breach ever affected your data we would notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
International transfers and children
We operate and store data in the United States and sell only to US customers, so we do not routinely transfer your data abroad. Our products and site are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16; if you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links and Do Not Track
The site may link to third-party sites — for example a carrier’s tracking page. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; read their policies. Some browsers send a Do-Not-Track signal; because there is no common standard for it, we do not respond to it, but we limit tracking to what is described here regardless.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. When we do, we revise the date at the foot of the page, and if a change is significant we will make it prominent on the site. Continuing to use r8research.store after a change means you accept the updated policy, so we encourage you to read it when you order.

Finally, we keep this policy consistent with our Terms, Shipping Policy and Refund policy, so that whichever page you read the commitments line up; if you ever spot a discrepancy, tell us and we will correct it promptly, because a policy is only worth anything if it is accurate and kept up to date.
