Agreement to terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of R8 Research and any purchase made through r8research.store. By placing an order you agree to them in full. R8 Research is an online supplier of laboratory glassware, benchtop measuring instruments and labware, operated from Delray Beach, Florida, and selling only to customers in the United States. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the site.
Products and descriptions
We sell durable laboratory hardware only — empty glassware, measuring instruments, storage and bench equipment. We do not sell chemicals, reagents, consumables or anything intended for consumption. We take care to describe every product accurately, including its material and dimensions, but minor variations in finish are normal for manufactured goods and are not defects. Product images are representative; the maker’s mark and finish may vary slightly between production runs.
Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send an order confirmation and, separately, when the goods are dispatched. We may decline or cancel an order — for example where an item is out of stock, a price is listed in error, or we cannot verify billing and shipping details — and where we do, any payment taken is refunded in full. Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude shipping unless stated.
Pricing and payment
All prices are in US dollars. Payment is taken securely at checkout; we do not store your full card number on our servers. Title and risk in the goods pass to you on delivery to the address you provide. You are responsible for entering a correct, complete delivery address.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to interfere with its operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose. The site, its text, images and branding are owned by R8 Research and may not be copied or reused without written permission.
Warranty and liability
We warrant that goods will match their description and be free from manufacturing defects at the time of delivery. This does not cover fair wear and tear, misuse, or damage caused by using an item outside its stated purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the price paid for the goods concerned. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, and any dispute is subject to the courts of that state. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect.
Changes and contact

Stock and backorders
Catalogue availability changes as orders come in. If an item you ordered is unexpectedly out of stock we will tell you promptly and offer to hold the order for the restock, substitute an equivalent item with your agreement, or refund that line in full. We do not charge for a backordered item until it ships.
Order limits and verification
We may limit the quantity of any item per order or per customer, and we may ask you to verify your identity or your billing details before we dispatch a high-value order. This protects you and us against fraud. Where we cannot complete a verification we will cancel the order and refund any amount taken.
Taxes
Prices exclude any sales tax that applies to your delivery address. Where tax is due it is shown at checkout before you pay. You are responsible for any use or reporting obligations that apply to you as the buyer.
Intellectual property
All content on r8research.store — text, product descriptions, photographs, the R8 Research name and maker’s mark — is our property or used with permission and is protected by law. You may not reproduce, republish or use it for commercial purposes without our written consent. You may of course keep your own order records.
Force majeure
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier disruption, severe weather, supplier failure or acts of government. Where such an event occurs we will keep you informed and, if the delay is significant, offer you the choice of waiting or a refund.
Indemnity and severability
You agree to use the products you buy safely and for their intended purpose, and to hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of them. If any single provision of these terms is held invalid, the rest remain fully in force, and our failure to enforce a provision on one occasion is not a waiver of it.
Entire agreement
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund & Returns Policy, form the whole agreement between you and R8 Research for your purchase, and supersede any prior discussion.
